Our 2022 commitment

As a leading global university, we will continue to strengthen the advantage created through our network of global campuses.  Connections and collaborations across locations will become embedded in our day-to-day practices and our operating philosophy.  Digital technologies will assist us in developing new global engagement opportunities, connecting students, alumni, staff, industry and the community with Curtin.

In response to increased international student mobility and demands for higher education, we will have a comprehensive global marketing strategy to ensure we remain a university of choice for international students – whether they choose to study in Australia, at our offshore campuses, or online.

We will balance the traditional focus on international student demand with a new model of collaboration that will see us engaging with universities, governments, industry and other organisations for the betterment of communities worldwide.  We will develop long-term institutional partnerships and alliances, explore new and emerging markets and support our staff and students to have international learning experiences.  We will continue to seek new teaching and research relationships with high achieving universities, as well as building links with existing partners and networks to benefit both staff and students.

Curtin’s alumni engagement will reflect this global perspective.  We have alumni spanning many countries, providing a strong foundation for the development of a global network that will encourage our alumni to be engaged with us for life.
